Misty Rockman Williams - Memorial!

Misty Williams, age 32, surrounded by her family, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 5, 2010. She was born August 1, 1977, in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida to Susan Gill Rockman. Misty was a lifelong resident of Walton County. She was Baptist by faith and a member of South Walton Baptist Church by the Bay. She graduated from Walton High School in 1995, she also graduated from the University of West Florida, with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Education Curriculum. She enjoyed cheerleading, having served as a sponsor for 4 years at Freeport High School. She was very competitive, enjoyed challenges, and never met a stranger. She dearly loved her children and family. She also enjoyed the beach, warm days, traveling, and new experiences. Misty was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Joe Gill and Leneta Frazier and paternal grandparents J.P. Shaw and Louie Shaw. Misty is survived by her parents Tim and Susan Rockman, and Joey and Barbara Rushing all of DeFuniak Springs, her husband Taylor Williams, three daughters Lauren Brooke, Londyn Breece, and Logan Brinleigh all of Freeport, one brother Beau Rushing of DeFuniak Springs, five sisters Rebecca Rockman and fiancé Jeremy Bryan of DeFuniak Springs, Lesley Rockman Chest and husband Chris of Geneva, Alabama, Tyana Carroll and husband Steven of DeFuniak Springs, Vanna Rushing of Tallahassee and Leah Powell and husband Bayn of DeFuniak Springs, father-in-law and mother-in-law David and Dianh Chance, brother and sister-in-laws Lloyd Williams and wife Tara, Chandler Williams and wife Jessica, Riker Chance, Brittan Chance, Carrie Fannin and husband Mike, Hannah Bills and husband Shane, and Billie Grimmit and husband Mark, two grandparents Mildred Rockman and Eunice Rushing, also survived by numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Family will be receiving friends 1:00~2:00 PM, Saturday, April 10, 2010, at First Baptist Church of DeFuniak Springs; 216 Live Oak Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 10, 2010 at First Baptist Church of DeFuniak Springs with Reverend Russell Hughes and Dr. Walt Campbell officiating. As this will be a celebration of Misty's life, the family request those who attending the service to please wear cheerful colors. Memorialization will be by cremation.
